How to change processors name in windows 7.
Click on Start.
Click on Run.
Type “ regedit ” without quotes.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/
HARDWARE/ DESCRIPTION/System/
CentralProcessor/0
In the work area, double click
on ProcessorNameString
Change its value/name whatever you
like.
Click OK
That’s it. You are done. Now check
your processor name with your new
modified name.
Click on Start.
